ADMISSION

Admission is open to all pupils irrespective of caste,creed and social status. Admission to classes are subject to availability of seats.Recommendations are not appreciated.

FEES

The school fees can be paid on all working days.

HOUSE SYSTEM

In order to promote competitive spirit among the pupils and to inculcate the habit of co-operation and leadership qualities an efficient house system has been introduced in the school. Every pupil belongs to a house and will be guided by the house captains, vice-captains and a few teachers.

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Special coaching for Dance, Drama, Public Speaking, Debate, Quiz, Seminar, Clay Modelling, Fine Arts, Calligraphy, , Karate, Cricket, Football, Table Tennis , Khabadi etc

RULES OF DISCIPLINE

  • Every pupil of this school is required to have a copy of the Student Manual which must be brought to school on all school days. One should moreover make oneself acquainted with the rules and obey them.
  • All pupils must reach the school on time.
  • All pupils should be habitually clean & dress neatly.
  • Pupils are responsible for the safe custody of their books and belongings. The school will not be responsible for their loss.
  • The School building and premises should be kept clean and tidy.
  • Being an English medium school it is expected that all speak English in the school premises.
  • Pupils who do not abide by the rules and regulations of the school will be dismissed from the school even during the course of the academic year.
  • Permission from the Principal is necessary for leaving the school premises during school hours.
  • It is compulsory on the part of the pupils to participate in co-curricular and other activities of the school.
  • Pupils in one class are not allowed to be in any other class even during the intervals.
  • All activities conducted under various clubs like Eco, PCBS, Disaster Management, Science, Mathematics , Social Studies, Social Service, Health, Sports, Art, Music etc.

ATTENDANCE

  • A student must have minimum of 90% attendance for promotion to the higher classes. A deficiency of 10% can be conducted by the principal on medical ground
  • Absence more than one day, without prior permission is a serious offence. Leave will be sanctioned for serious reasons with a written application of the parent or guardian.
  • In case of illness the parents should inform in the office at the earliest & student on returning to school must bring a note in her/ his diary from her/ his parents certifying the fact. In case of serious illness leave will be sanctioned only if it is certified by a doctor. Reasons like private work will not be accepted.
  • Leave on occasions like re-opening after vacation, national festivals like, Independence day ,Republic day, Gandhi Jayanti, National education day and days of importance like Teachers’ day, Childrens’ day etc.will not be sanctioned unless it is an emergency .
  • Absence without leave more than six days, renders a girl/ boy liable to be fined. If the absence prolonged for more than a week her/ his name is liable to be struck off the rolls.
  • New admissions are liable to loose their seats it they fail to report within a week after school re-opens in the new academic year.

LEAVE OF ABSENCE

  • Leave of absence may be permitted to a pupil for sufficient cause but only on prior written application from parents . Leave for more than two days is to be granded by the principal only.
  • If pupil for some reason are absent from school for more than fortnight (2 weeks) their names will be struck off from the rolls and as a rule they are not readmitted . If in case they are readmitted they will have to pay the readmission fee again.
  • If a pupil is absent due to illness or any other reason the principal must be informed immediately and the pupil on returning to school must bring a note from the parents or guardians stating the reason for absence. In case illness a medical certificate is essential.
  • Pupil must return to school after the holidays on the appointed day and be present on the closing day of each term .During the school hours no student is allowed to leave the classroom without the permission of the teacher until the class is dismissed.
  • It may be noted that children will not be sent home in emergency with anyone who might come for them during school hours without a written request from parents or guardians.
  • The school authorites will not be responsible for anything happening to a student of any class before school hours or after school hours. Parents/Guardians must take this matter with some seriousness and see that their child/ward comes to school in time and reaches home soon after the classes.

EXAMINATIONS AND PROMOTIONS

  • The progress of the pupil is evaluated by a regular process of CBSE Assessment. Progress report is issued after each evaluation.
  • A student should get a minimum of 40% marks in each subject.
  • Promotions are made after the annual examinations based on the overall performance of the pupil throughout the year.

Parent's role

Your child Is the most important person in our school. You have entrusted him/her into our care. We work for the development your child, our student. Therefore all the co-operation you can give to the school will contribute to the growth and development of your child.

  • You are expected to monitor the home work and regular studies at home .
  • Encourage your child to participate in the activities of the school and if required to spend extra time in the school.
  • Character formation including Punctuality, regular attendance, discipline & cleanliness are combined responsibilities of parents and the institution.
  • Attend Parent’s meetings on every second and fourth Saturday from 12 noon to 1 pm. And on emergencies whenever called from the office .
  • Any complaint/Suggestion to be informed in the office on time
